Java Programming Language

Intensive and hands-on, the course emphasizes becoming productive quickly as a Java™ application developer. This course quickly covers the Java language syntax and then moves into the object-oriented features of the language. 


C#

C# Programming Language


Intensive and hands-on, the course emphasizes becoming productive quickly as a C# application developer. This course quickly covers the C# language syntax and then moves into the object-oriented features of the language. Students become familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio for C# application development.


DATABASE

Database Engineering

This course introduces the students to database technology and the role of databases within an organization. The main concepts and functions from a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) are studied. Structured Query Language and PL/SQL are covered. Students will learn how to create and alter tables, how to insert, update and delete data. Students will also learn how to use SQL queries with join, aggregation and ordering clauses.


PYTHON

Python Programming Language

This course is an introduction to the Python programming language for students without prior programming experience. Python is a language with a simple syntax, and a powerful set of libraries. It is an interpreted language, with a rich programming environment, including a robust debugger and profiler. Python is widely used in many scientific areas for data exploration. We cover data types, control flow, object-oriented programming, and graphical user interface-driven applications.


Introduction to Website Design

This course introduces students to the front end of website development. We start by learning HTML structure, syntax and content. CSS positioning for layout is then introduced. After learning HTML + CSS, students get an introduction to Javascript and libraries. Students become familiar with git hub and finally are introduced to UI / UX design.
